Edifício Filipa d’Água
Lot 28 is located at the southern end of the original Quinta Filipa d’Água subdivision, which takes its name from the old farm that existed here and of which only its main house and chapel remain. This farm was one of the many that once dominated the landscape of this territory, with great agricultural potential.
Little remains of this agricultural memory, with the landscape now dominated mainly by built buildings.
A careful urban design is proposed, relating the use of the building with the experience of the surrounding public space, predominantly with Filipa d’Água urban park. Through the creation of a raised level in the form of a square, the relationship between the existing streets and the surroundings is enhanced and articulated in a harmonious way and fully accessible through gentle ramps, thus creating fluid pedestrian circulation, establishing new areas of permanence in the public space.

O lote 28 localiza-se no extremo sul do loteamento original da Quinta Filipa d’Água, que adquire o seu nome pela antiga quinta que aqui existia e de que apenas resta a sua casa principal e capela. Esta quinta era uma das muitas que outrora dominavam a paisagem deste território, com grande aptidão agrícola.
Desta memória agrícola pouco nos resta, sendo agora a paisagem dominada maioritariamente pelo edificado construído.
Propõe-se um desenho urbano cuidado, relacionando a utilização do edifício com a vivência do espaço público circundante, em particular com o parque urbano Filipa d’Água. Através da criação de um patamar elevado em forma de praça, a relação dos arruamentos existentes com a envolvente é valorizada e articulada de forma harmoniosa e totalmente acessível através de suaves rampas, criando assim uma circulação pedonal fluída, estabelecendo novas zonas de permanência no espaço público.
