Casa Estoril
Located on Rua Dom Afonso Henriques, in Estoril, the house targeted for intervention underwent several renovations over the years, including several expansions that ended up distorting and complicating its original structure.
The aim is now to return to the house the qualities it once had, rediscovering its original form, through the demolition of all dissonant elements and bodies, preserving only its structure and valuable elements, helping to clarify not only the exterior but also the interior.
We also sought to create a reinforced concrete shading structure around the entire house, which allows greater permanence and enjoyment of the outdoor spaces throughout the year. Furthermore, this structure defines new external circulations and acts as a modernizing and aggregating agent for the whole.

Situada na Rua Dom Afonso Henriques, no Estoril, a casa alvo de intervenção sofreu várias reformas ao longo dos anos, incluindo várias ampliações que acabaram por desvirtuar e complexificar a sua estrutura original.
Pretende-se agora devolver à casa as qualidades que outrora teve, redescobrindo a sua forma original, através da demolição de todos os elementos e corpos dissonantes, preservando apenas a sua estrutura e os elementos de valor, ajudando a clarificar não só o exterior como o seu interior.
Procurou-se ainda, através da criação de uma estrutura de sombreamento em betão armado em torno de toda a casa, que permite uma maior permanência e fruição dos espaços exteriores ao longo de todo o ano. Além disso, essa estrutura define novas circulações externas e atua como agente modernizador e agregador do conjunto.
